Keep Christ in Christmas and Our Money in China

I just saw a piece on ABC Evening News where they are trying to get people to buy American. Ross Perot tried the same thing in 1992 and 1996 but NAFTA was the big thing.  For those of you that don't remember, NAFTA would ease trade barriers between Canada, Mexico and the United States.  Another unanticipated consequence was "Outsourcing", where companies create customer service phone banks in India. I can't tell you how many people I've talked to that swore the "by Vishnu, my name is Sally."  And since we can't point out truth, a recent credit card campaign has the phones answered by a heavyset Russian guy, who tells everyone his name is "Peggy." It would be racist to do an Indian accent apparently.

Back to my point: this year we are sending $6 billion to China, since they make everything we consume. Wal-Mart used to tout that everything they sold was made in America.  When they started forcing suppliers to continually cut costs and reduce the costs to Wal-Mart, manufacturers moved their production facilities to China. Plants here closed, putting people out of work. And as the big corporations made larger and larger profits, Congress gave them more incentives to move jobs from here to there.

Perot once asked: "Hear that sucking sound? That's jobs leaving America."

Democrats and Republicans let corporations take jobs from Americans and send them overseas.  Meanwhile, they distracted us with things like Illegal Immigration, and War on Christians, and War on Christmas. And like well-trained animals, we decided we should blame all our woes on "people who want to destroy America." That way we wouldn't look at Congress.

Fortress AmeriKKKa - Day 508

Now that October is here, it's time to start thinking about Chri$tma$. Recently, China's attempt to kill our children with lead poisoning spurred a lot of people to have a "Made in China Free Christmas." Problem is 80% of toys sold in the US are made in China. Here's a link to the story.

China has declared war on AmeriKKKa. Because we won't let meskins into this country to work in factories, we have shipped all that work to China, where they are using lead in paint and other methods to kill our children! The latest assault: Baby cribs.

World Net Daily had a story about this and said:

Of the 152 product recalls announced by the commission since January, 104 have been for products made in China. They include:
  • Portable baby swings that entrap youngsters, resulting in 60 reports of cuts, bruises and abrasions;
  • Swimming pool ladders that break, resulting in 127 reports of injuries, including leg lacerations requiring up to 21 stitches, five reports of bone fractures, two back injuries, two reports of torn ligaments and eight sprained ankles;
  • Faulty baby carriers that result in babies falling out and getting bruised, getting skulls cracked and hospitalizations;
  • Easy-Bake Ovens that trap children's fingers in openings, resulting in burns;
  • Oscillating tower fans whose faulty wiring results in fires, burns and smoke inhalation injuries;
  • Exploding air pumps that have resulted in 13 lacerations including six facial injuries and one to the eye;
  • Bargain-priced oil-filled electric heaters, selling for less than $50, that burn down homes;
  • Notebook computer batteries that burn up computers, cause other property damage and burn users;
  • Circular saws with faulty blade guards that result in cutting users, not wood.

Recently, Mattel apologized to the Chinese for Mattel's design of dangerous toys, especially those with small magnets. While China can't be faulted for building to the blue prints, one has to wonder: Does China own stock in the dangerous companies? If so, the battle for Global Domination won't be fought on the steppes of China, but on the shelves of Wal-Mart.
