To preserve the Union, a House subcommittee has passed legislation that would force college football to switch from the current Bowl Championship Series to a playoff system.

AT&T sold the iPhone because of its ability to stream video on their 3G network. Now that people are doing that, they are contemplating ways to get them to stop. Maybe AT&T's slogan could be, "You can do this, but we don't want you to do it."

Jeff Holt was born in Brownwood, Texas, a seventh generation Texan, and Thirteenth generation American. He has lived in Fredericksburg, Texas, most of his life. He graduated from Fredericksburg High School in 1980, Nagasaki Weslyan Junior College in Isahaya, Japan in 1985, Schreiner College (now University) in 1987, and University of Texas Graduate School in 1989.
