Fortress AmeriKKKa - Day 504

A year ago, Riverside was the first city in New Jersey to outlaw illegal aliens. The legislation worked well, driving the recent immigrants from Brazil and other Latin American countries left. All's well, right?

Not quite.

Sure, the illegals are gone. So are the hair salons, restaurants and corner shops that once catered to the immigrants. Those legal citizens who had opened boarded up store front buildings and refurbished them had, after the crash, boarded them up again.

Also missing: $82,000 from the city budget due to lawsuits over the ordinance. Town officials have had to delay paving projects, repairs to city hall and the purchase of a new dump truck.

Now, Riverside is repealing their ordinance hoping to money back into the budget to run the city.

I feel safer already.
