I spent most of the weekend trying to get a USB wireless network adapter installed on the machine I put Ubuntu on. The operative word is trying. I had hoped that Ubuntu , which had a pretty streamlined interface, would be easier to learn.

'Fraid not. I had forgotten that different computer Operating Systems are, essentially, a different language. And while I can get the computer to do a few things, I still need to understand why and how it does.

Just what I needed: Another hobby.
