Could someone call George Clooney and have him explain why we should care about Darfur? Because their ruler oppressed the citizens? Same in Iraq. No democracy? Same in Iraq.
Now, however, GWB has a reason: Rebels have attacked oil fields. Will Hollywood abandon Darfur when US troops rush in to secure oil supplies, or will they stand by their compassion and demand US troops be sent in until democracy is achieved?
God, I love hypocrisy!
